Services | Death Doula Claire

For those ageing into end of life or have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, I help with end-of-life planning, provide bedside companionship, facilitate legacy work, complete life review, and sit vigil as the time of death nears. I also help with logistical matters such as documenting your advance care plan, organizing your care coordination, and providing resources for funeral plans or celebrations of life. I can also provide after-death support, which encompasses notifications and communication to your friends and family, as well as grief support for your loved ones.

For the loved ones supporting the dying, preparing to say goodbye, or have already said goodbye, I provide comfort and support, as well as practical guidance in planning for care.

I also offer services grounded in education, fear reduction and empowerment for those curious about learning and getting their affairs in order.

'I am dying. This is a shock and very new to me. I want to say goodbye. I want to be remembered. I want to write some letters. Is this something you do?'

'I have been diagnosed with cancer, and I want my kids to remember me. I have friends and family around me, but they don’t want to believe that I am dying. I know I am, and I want to work on my legacy.'

Cost

I have built my business on service, support and an open approach. I charge a fee for what I do best, which is the service I provide through time. My rates for each program I provide are based on a set number of hours. If you would like to increase these hours throughout our time together, this can be arranged with an amended agreement.
